Hi there! I've been a little absent these days.. well.. you see.. I've been VERY busy with school lately, speciale because I'm in exams these weeks x_x but I've tried to draw as much as I can, I've made some good sketches wich I hope to make them clean soon.
And, as I said in the previous journal, I'd answer some questions that you could send by note and even I didn't receive many, these are some of them
-Is there a kind of art what you would like to draw but you cannot achieve it even if you practice a lot?
Well, yes.. I'd like to make semirealism.. but I dont want it so anime-ish or manga... I dunno if you understand.. Personally I'd like to stop drawing anime/manga for a while
-Who's your inspiration?
Hmm actually.. many people, but in the very beginning I was very inspired by mazjojo, I think you know it. Nowadays, many awesome artists such as Felsus, elsevilla, andreasrocha, and some comic artists (just a little) jim lee and michael turner..
-Since when have you been drawing?
Honestly, since I can remember.. my whole life I think.. but since I took it as passion, since I was 13 years old.. (I'm now 21)
-Why do you always draw males?
Since the beginning, I remember I always liked to draw warriors, mainly swordmans and those kind of fantasy-like characters. Most of them were males, and I think that's why I got used to draw males almost always, and even know, I still like to draw warrios and stuffs, but you see, I also think male body is a little more complex than females (from my point of view) specially because of muscles, and I think once I can master male body, I will be able to draw females more easily. Actually I am drawing many females lately, I'm starting to practice with female body, and thanks of my practice drawing males, I feel it a little easy to draw females (some time ago, it was very very difficult to me) but I still have to practice more.
-Any advice for beginners?
Of course! First, never give up, do not feel less than others just because they can draw better than you. Ignore it, just focus on yourself, take inspirations, as much references as you can (if practicing anatomy, also try with real people reference,s that helps a lot, trust me) Then, practice as hell, everyday.. you must have discipline. Always be serious and constant, then, with the pass of time, you will see your old drawing and will say "the fuck is this? did I really draw this?! o_O" and if possible, try to re-make those old drawings once you feel you've improved
I think those were the most outstanding questions, I hope that helps
Until later people
I still have much homework to do *dies*
